Short, because there is not much to say.
You can try Shepi free for 14 days and then buy a license, once, for US $19.99 (tax as Paddle shows at checkout). These terms, between you and WIO, who makes Shepi, are the few things to know.
1. The license
A license is for one person, who may use Shepi on all of their own Macs, for personal or commercial work, for as long as they like, with every future update included at no charge. Anyone may download and try it for 14 days. Your purchase belongs to the Google, GitHub or X account you signed in with when you bought (any of the three with the same email address). You may not share that sign-in, sell or redistribute Shepi, or work around the trial or the purchase check.
2. What Shepi is, and is not
- Shepi is a client for Herdr. It needs Herdr, which is separate, free, open-source software that you install and are responsible for. Shepi does not include Herdr or any coding agent.
- Shepi is an independent product. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with the Herdr project or with the makers of any agent it displays.
- Shepi displays and relays input to programs you run. What those programs do, including anything an agent changes, deploys or deletes, is between you and them. Shepi does not run, approve or supervise them.
3. Third-party software
Herdr, the agents you run, Git, SSH and the other tools Shepi talks to are governed by their own licenses. Shepi includes JetBrains Mono and the JetBrainsMono Nerd Font (SIL Open Font License, with the licenses of the Nerd Fonts glyph sets), Herdr's notification sounds (Apache License 2.0), SwiftTerm (MIT License) and Sparkle (MIT License); the agent marks come from the Agent Client Protocol registry (Apache License 2.0) and are their owners' trademarks. Their license texts are in About Shepi › Acknowledgements.
4. No warranty, limited liability
Shepi is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will meet your needs or run without interruption, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use, including loss caused by software it displays. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
5. Purchases and refunds
Shepi is sold by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, under its buyer terms; Paddle handles payment, tax, receipts and refunds. If Shepi isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of buying, for any reason: use the link in your Paddle receipt or paddle.net, or write to support@shepi.app with the order number. Paddle issues the refund to your original payment method. A refund ends your license: Shepi will no longer unlock for that account, and you agree to stop using it on Macs where it is already unlocked.
6. Privacy
Shepi collects nothing on its own. The privacy policy lists everything the app stores, reads and sends.
7. Changes and contact
If these terms change, the new version is published here with a new effective date. Shepi is made by WIO. Questions: support@shepi.app.
